In yoga, the breath is the link between the body and the mind. The practice of breathing is called Pranayama, Prana (life force) Yama (restraint), Pranayama; the control of life force. Our life force is our breath. In this class we will use different breathing techniques to allow energy to flow freely and to calm, relax, and bring balance to our body, mind, and spirit. Paired with an EveryDay asana (yoga poses) practice designed to strengthen, energize, lengthen, calm, relax and release, we will create space in our bodies, preparing us for meditation and our day. Our meditation practice will help cultivate a sense of calm, peace, and serenity. It will teach us how to focus on the present moment, witness ourselves, and open ourselves to the magic in the space we manifest.
