This is a great class for athletes! The class begins and ends with yoga and includes bursts of 30-45 seconds of high-intensity full-body intervals. Each interval is followed by 15-30 seconds of rest. Interval sequences include core sculpting, cardio strengthening, and muscle building L-sits, handstands, burpees, chaturangas, warriors, karate kicks, and sliders. The goal is to increase your heart rate as fast and as high as possible in the shortest amount of time, and then lower your heart rate through yoga and breath. This alternating rise and fall of your heart rate works the cardiovascular system and is really good for your heart health. You also get the added benefit of stretching out the muscles through yoga directly after you worked them. Gain the power you need to take your yoga practice to the next level!
